Ten P's in a Pod

Have you heard of this wonderful book? Ten P's in a Pod by Arnold Pent III is a wonderful, convicting book. I like to keep a read aloud going in our family all the time. We just finished Autumn with the Moody's by Sarah Maxwell. We spent longer on this book than I would have liked. I got a little lazy and didn't make our read aloud time a priority. The book by Ms. Maxwell is a really good family book that everyone loved. I plan on ordering Winter with the Moody's after we read a couple of books we have around the house. One of those books is Ten P's in a Pod. We had started this book on our drive up to Wisconsin but it got lost in all of the shuffle. When I found it the other day, I made it our next read aloud. This book is really good, not only is it good, it is convicting. The amount of Bible reading and memorization that this family accomplished is amazing. The kids are realizing as I am reading this that we need to make this a priority in our family. I have I think allowed us to be a little more casual in our Christian walk than we should. I plan on vamping that up for all of us, our focus on God in our walk. I encourage you to find this book if you can. You won't regret it, I promise!
