No Surgery

Well, dh's surgery didn't end up happening today. The insurance person who approves surgeries said that he had more important surgeries to approve. I was a little frustrated with the cancellation because of the preparation that we did for this. He was notified at 9:50 this morning that his surgery that was supposed to take place at 2, was canceled. We did know that is was up in the air though when he talked to them yesterday. I am trusting that maybe this wasn't what God wanted to happen. There were a lot of people praying and the surgery was canceled so maybe this is God's will.
It has been rescheduled for August 9th and has been sent to someone else for approval. Hopefully we will know a few days before the surgery if it has been approved or not.
I have been working on our fall Moth schedule. It is getting close for a lot of us homeschoolers to start our school year. I was actually hoping to start on August but with dh's surgery I was planning on waiting. I think I am going to wait a little longer since he will be out of commission during our first week. I know I will be spending lots of time serving him and making him comfortable, I won't be able to be really focused on schooling. This does give me some extra time to get our first few months planned out for school though so I can't complain.
