Saying hi and a neat website I found

I had an entry partially typed up but had to restart my computer, so it is now lost. I wanted to say that my mother and sister came and we had a wonderful visit. I am so glad they came up and spent some time with us. It makes me miss "home" so much. I really love my family and miss seeing them so much. We always spent holidays together, it didn't really matter which one, we were just always together. Now we are trying to make traditions with just us and it is a lot different. No large family gatherings, no buffet with too much food, no laughter in all parts of the house. I don't know how some families do it.
I wanted to share a really neat website I found today. I wasn't look for it, it just seemed to find me.
It is a nice little site full of authentic Mexican recipes with photos. My dh really loves Mexican food, the real kind and the Tex-Mex kind. I am going shopping this weekend for groceries so I am thinking of including 2 to 3 of her recipes a week for him. The pineapple drink looks really good too.
Here is the site if you would like to check it out: http://www.rollybrook.com/kitchen.htm
I really like the pictures that are on there, it helps me see what she did. One of the things that I know I won't be able shop everyday like she does but I think it will still work. I wish I knew of a Hispanic grocery store around here. I have seen a few Asian markets though.
Well, when I was lamenting over the passing of winter, I think I was heard. Even my family got snow the day before Easter. My grandfather said he can remember a snow once in his life in April, I believe he said the April of 1949. We are still getting snow. We are supposed to get about 8 inches today and tonight. What weird weather. Oh well, it is better than terrible thunderstorms and tornadoes. I do with the sun would peak out though. I think I am getting the winter blues in spring. :-)
I hope you are all having wonderful weeks and enjoying the wonderful blessings from God.
