A Summer Cold

Well, I have been absent for a little while. I somehow ended up with a summer cold that kept me in bed for almost a week. It ended up going into my sinuses and giving me a sinus infection, which I have never had before. I was hoping that today would be a day where I could get a lot accomplished but that isn't going to happen. I woke up today feeling pretty good, still stuffy and not back to my complete self but with a new problem, my knee is bothering me. Right now is not the time for me to be sick or having problems. I need to be getting planning for the school year completed and getting into a good routine but that can't happen if I am not functioning like I need to be. I don't really know what is wrong with my knee. It was bothering me some on Sunday but I woke up today feeling pain every time I would bend be left leg. As the day has gone on, the pain is still here but not quite so intense. I have no clue what I could have done since I haven't really done anything. I did find it amazing that this cold knocked me down as much as it did. I haven't been that ill in a long time.
Thursday my dh is going in to have a tonsillectomy and a UPPP ( I believe that is correct). He is going to have his uvula removed. He has severe sleep apnea and they feel that having these surgeries will help. I am very, very nervous. I did a little reading online and it sounds like the recovery is terrible and excruciating and long. He will be home for about a week. Ideally it would be 2 weeks but we can't afford it. I am not sure how this is going to work out but God knows and that is where my comfort must rest. If you wouldn't mind saying a little prayer for us I would appreciate it.
I have been wanting to post daily but something always seems to be stopping me. I have a few things I want to share and some neat pages to share that I have found.
I hope you all are enjoying your summer, a summer that seems to be flying by at a rapid pace.
